I had produced various collateral for London's Classic Car Club, a points based classic car hire club, for a few years – advertising, brochures, mailers and also a rebrand. But I was convinced there was untapped potential in the club. Not everyone who loves classic cars and design is in a position to sign up for membership, they are often simply in love with the lifestyle. So, I put together a proposal that demonstrated a way that CCC could reach the wider classic car community without the need to grow their garage. The idea was to create a web hub to cater for the thousands of enthusiasts who love the lifestyle. We then created an editorial website containing exclusive offers, films and articles. The new offering increased the number of unique visitors to their existing site by 1400% in the first year, and Classic Car Club The Hub became one of the first classic car lifestyle online magazines in the UK.
