My co-owned agency produced everything from DP’s first television spot since the 70s, press and outdoor advertising through to in-store and window displays. Sales jumped every year we worked together and they became one of the most popular womens' retailers on the High Street. The TV spots alone resulted in a national sales uplift of 24%.
We were then asked to help Evans – Evans had a unique story to tell and not much money to tell it. Unlike other retailers, they designed each of their sizes specifically for body shape (rather than simply sizing up their small sizes). We came up with the ‘Created for Curves’ positioning and then I oversaw the retailer's first ever TV campaign. The results were outstanding with sales running 80% higher in regions where the ad ran.
